In early October, Steve Briggs, one of our electrical instructors travelled to Gibraltar to deliver 18th Edition training to Techtrolec electrical contractors. Techtrolec have gained a reputation as one of Gibraltar’s most successful and reputable commercial electrical contractors and has grown to include an air conditioning department and a fire and security department delivering all round assistance and maintenance packages to clients across Gibraltar.
Their engineers supply, install and maintain a full range of electrical products, from fixed wire installations to stand by power solutions including generators and UPS’s. They also supply the latest in LED lighting and Solar Powered lighting.
The two, 2-day courses took place at their premises in the New Harbours industrial estate on the site of the historic old Royal Naval dockyard. Techtrolec are keen for all their electrical staff to be up to date with the latest regulations and the training was well received and very successful.

While he was there, Steve took time out to walk up, around and through the rock. He is currently recovering the use of his legs!
