Able Skills Head Over To Gibraltar To deliver 18th Edition Training!

One of our very own Electrical Instructors Steve Briggs has been asked to head out over to Gibraltar to exclusively deliver 18th Edition Course training for Electrical firm Techtrolec! Techtrolec has become a very familiar name here at Able Skills and it isn't the first time we've helped their staff train towards various Electrical Courses. Steve will be staying for 1 week in hopes of seeing 2 groups successfully pass their 18th Edition!
Current Techtrolec staff members Jordan and Zhane originally travelled all the way from Gibraltar to achieve their Level 2 and 3 here at our Centre in Dartford. This was before they began working towards their NVQ which saw our other electrical instructor Clive fly out to Gilraltar just like Steve! It's safe to say we have developed a very good relationship with Techtrolec and it's an honour to say we still keep in touch!
Now the 18th Edition Course enables Electricians to ensure they're up to date with the latest wiring regulations so they can legally work on electrical installations. As of 2019, it will become mandatory for Electricians to hold this qualification as anyone caught without the latest qualifications will be working illegally.
Heading over in just a couple of weeks, Steve has a few things to do before leaving for the airport. Being the instructor, he has the task of designing a bespoke course on the latest wiring regulations in order to update the Electricians on their knowledge. Upon arrival, Steve will be running various software checks before delivering the training and the exam there after.
It's safe to say Instructor Steve is most definitely looking forward to delivering 18th Edition Course training overseas. It's not everyday doing what you love takes you around the world and to see him doing such thing is really motivating for other Able Skills staff members as well as students. After all, Steve represents one route aspiring Electricians can go down in the future and that's teaching!
