Recently we talked about our Domestic Electrical Part-P Package but did you know that we have an extended version of this course that includes some further training and insight that can be very useful when you begin working out in the industry. - Today we will be looking at what is included in this Advanced Domestic Electrical Part P Package and how to get enrolled onto this and our other electrician courses...

This advanced version will take 25-days to complete and includes the courses also seen in the original course including; Introduction to Basic Domestic Electrics, 18th Edition and a Level 2 award in Inspection and Testing. However, this package aims to further develop your understanding of Inspection and Testing through our Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations. This will really put you a step above the rest when it comes to domestic installation. Having a solid understanding of how to properly test installations is extremely valuable. This particular course, also known as 2391 is a qualification that helps you to develop the knowledge and practical skills required to professionally install and carry out initial verification and periodic inspection and testing on electrical installations, which is an essential skills for people in this role.

 

This additional Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations is completely theory based and will be taught mostly within a classroom. Our instructors know how to convey the information in an easily digestible manner and will prepare you for the assessments.   The course is completed via completion of an online multiple-choice examination, comprising of 60 questions as well as a 2.5 hour practical assignment; comprising of a full Initial verification and a Periodic inspection (combined within the same assessment) of a three-phase electrical installation, including completion of all appropriate documentation.

 

The final course in this advanced package is seen as a more difficult qualification amongst electricians in the industry, we actually suggest that you take a break between the Level 2 award and the final Level 3 award in this package for the purpose of gaining some more practical experience out on-site carrying out Inspection and Testing. Note that after the first 2-weeks of fundamental training you can break up the following weeks as you please to let the information sink in and not become overwhelming or if you have any prior arrangements you need to attend to just know that we are very flexible and will help you train around your life.

You can also enroll online simply find the course you are interested in and look for "Reserve your Space" follow the instructions from there and you will be training in no time!
