Technicians who have taken electrical courses could be required during the construction of Altrincham General Hospital.
The medical facility will be built on Railway Street by developer Citybranch if a planning application is successful.
Conservative leader of Trafford Council Matt Colledge highlighted how the construction is a key part of the town's regeneration, which has been overseen by a group of the north-west's top businessmen and women.
"This new hospital is a much needed facility for Altrincham and securing its future has always been the council's priority," he remarked.
Ron Calvert, chief executive of the Trafford NHS Trust, told the Manchester Evening News that the creation of the hospital is "fantastic news" for residents.
Citybranch beat Vinci Construction UK and Nikal to the Trafford NHS Trust project, which Councillor Colledge hopes can be built as soon as possible.
Other parts of the destination's regeneration strategy include retail, leisure and business plans, with the aim being of enhancing its profile as a place to visit.
