Another exciting week on our Plumbing courses!
We are back here at our training centre! Providing the top-quality courses that we have been teaching for years. This week our aspiring plumbers are moving on from the basic pipe-skills and taking on some more hands-on practical tasks. Our City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing course really is the ultimate learning program for somebody looking to become a plumber from scratch. This course is full-on 7-weeks of comprehensive learning to help you gain an understanding of domestic plumbing covering both theory and practical to enable you to work successfully as a Plumber. We offer some of the best plumbing courses around, fantastic facilities and helpful staff! Here's a look at what our students got up to last week...
Can I train on weekends?
We are very flexible here at Able Skills, we offer many alternative training methods for our courses, one of which is the ability to take almost any of our courses on a weekend-basis. You will earn yourself the exact same level of qualification as the traditional course, the only difference is the amount of time the entire course will take to complete, we run weekend courses on a 2-weekends per month basis to keep groups processing. You can pay a deposit for this course and then only pay when you attend on those weekends, hopefully making the process as smooth as possible for our students.
Home-study options:
Another way to take on this course would be through our 'Home-study' method. Our Home Study Level 2 Plumbing Course is great if you want to train towards a new career in plumbing but your lifestyle doesn't allow for you to take 7-weeks to dedicate to training, maybe you have an existing job or family commitments then you should look into this alternative. We will present you with a 'Home-Study Kit' which includes all of the theory surrounding this qualification. You will learn at home, at your own pace about the underpinning theory behind plumbing installations, maintenance, repair, water systems and so on. once you are comfortable and confident that you have understood the materials provided you can book 4-weeks for which to learn the practical side and complete the relevant assessments, these weeks should be separate and are up to your preference in terms of which dates you choose.

What are the available dates for this Plumbing level 2 course?
Currently, we have some spaces available in October this year staring from the 26th! We will be adding more dates for all plumbing courses in the coming weeks when we have found a suitable balance between the number of students on-site here at the centre whilst maintaining social distancing. Additional information:
We have our own accommodation which is available on a room only basis and is located only 5 minutes from the Training Centre. The Accommodation is owned by Able Skills and will only ever be used by our students; the property also has a large car park so, for any of our visitors who are considering driving to us, vehicles can be left there quite safely during plumbing courses, electrician courses or other training.
