Another great week of 18th Edition Courses!
Here at Able Skills we teach a huge range of electrical courses and we are consonantly providing guidance on the wiring regulations through our 18th Edition Courses. Last week we had a great group of students take on our 3-day course that helps candidates become aware of the format, content and the application of the latest regulations. This course will include a mix of students, those who are already experienced electricians and those aspiring to become professional in the trade, however, it is not just electricians who need an understanding of 18th Edition. Installers involved with any aspect of electrical installations should also have a comprehensive knowledge – this includes gas engineers and kitchen fitters and so on. - Today we will take a look at what some of the students from last weeks group had to say about this particular course and some information on how to get involved yourself!
How will I learn?
The course is entirely classroom-based, we will prepare you as best as we can to be successful in the final test which is a 2-hour open-book, multiple-choice exam taken here in our dedicated exam room. Meaning that you will be able to have the 18th Edition book with you during the test. The trick is to know how to find the information you need and having the ability to decipher the details within. Our instructors a very informed electricians with years of experience working out in the industry, now teaching at our centre they have a full understanding of the wiring regulations and will guide you as best they can!
