Gas CoursesIt has been a very busy few weeks here at Able Skills across all our programmes, from New Electrical Courses, Plumbing Courses and much more. The last two weeks has seen two brand new groups come onto our Gas Courses.

We cover a range of programmes for different students on our Gas Courses. From complete New Entrant packages to the packages that allow Qualified Plumbers to upgrade their skills and gain a Gas qualification.

This week has been a busy one all round and we have welcomed back some former students that previously trained at Able Skills. On one of our new gas courses, we have a group of Qualified Plumbers that are now aiming to become Gas Engineers and we have students that have recently finished their City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing Course with us, along with some students that training with us years ago now coming back to train as a Gas Engineer.

When training as a Gas Safe Engineer it is vitally important you get the right training to carry out gas work correctly and safely. It is happening far too often that people are getting hurt from gas because of unqualified 'gas engineers' carrying out illegal gas work. Gas can kill and this is why we take our training so seriously to make sure you are leaving Able Skills knowing how to carry out gas work safely.

Along with our qualification courses, we also offer a 5-day training course on Boiler Fault Finding. This 5-day programme, designed by our gas instructors, has proved to be extremely popular among our gas students and also external gas engineers.
