The list is endless in terms of opportunities for electricians, from the obvious installations, installing systems such as lighting, security, power, fire protection systems and structure cabling. To more specific roles that you could corner the market on such as CCTV camera installation, a commercial electrician has the tools and knowledge to make a businesses premises more secure. Whatever route you are looking to take you will need an ECS card to begin working on-site. Our Gold Card Approved Electrician Package will land you a JIB 'Gold Card' upon successful completion! This is an ID that proves the holder is a qualified installation technician. Therefore, is evidence the holder has completed the necessary training and is a competent electrician.

What will I learn?

This package of electrical courses is the ultimate collection of courses and includes everything you need to begin a career in the trade! You will learn to become a professional electrician from scratch, guided by our expert instructors who have years of experience both teaching and working out in the industry in many different roles. Here are the electrical courses included in this amazing package...

Each of these courses are necessary steps in your journey towards a new career as an electrician and each will teach you valuable lessons and skills that you will eventually use on a weekly if not daily basis. The first two courses City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 will give you the fundamentals over a period of 14-weeks. In addition, you will take on 2-courses that will teach you some practical testing skills, PAT or Portable Appliance Testing and Inspection & Testing both are used in different setting for checking that an appliance or an electrical installation is working correctly and is safe...Moving on from there is the 18th Edition which is the latest British Standards BS 7671:2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations, IET Wiring Regulations. Able Skills will arrange site assessments in order for you to achieve C&G 2357 NVQ level 3 and finally, you will come back to Able Skills to undertake AM2 (Achievement Measurement 2).
