Last weekend we had many students at our training centre putting another solid 2-days of hard-work and they progress through their respective courses. And students this coming weekend will be back again as they work towards their industry-recognised qualifications in a variety trades such as Electrical, Plumbing, Gas, Decorating, Tiling, Plastering, Bricklaying and Carpentry.  

 

 

Plumbing is a technical trade and requires some top-notch training to become involved with - here at Able Skills training centre we offer a range of comprehensive plumbing courses! We know how to turn novices into experts...Our team of instructors are all extremely knowledgeable and experienced in the trade with years of work under their belts as well as years of teaching the subject. We also know the best way to learn is to get your hands dirty, that's why our plumbing courses are hands-on practical based, we have set-up individual workstations so that our candidates can have their own space to practice working alongside their instructor who will set you tasks and help you in any way they can!

This has proved to be a very popular option for those students who already have work commitments during the week and can't afford to go down the full-time route!

We don't just offer flexible training options like weekend courses, we also offer flexible payment options and allow students studying on a weekend basis to make payments in installations each week, instead of an upfront payment...

Work / Life Balance: 

 

Now some training centres require you to study in the evenings after a full days work, which takes up time away from your evening commitments but the beauty of weekend training means you don't have to worry about it during the week. We know that many of students have kids and families and it can be hard to find the time so we try to have as many alternative training options as possible and we hope that the opportunity of the weekend courses is beneficial for some.

Qualifications: 

 

Yes, gaining the all-important plumbing qualification on a weekend basis is a great option for some, obviously, you will achieve everything that a full-time student will achieve, the only difference is it may take you a little longer. Here at Able Skills, we are a City & Guilds accredited centre. Also, our Gas Training Courses are Apec Accredited.

Naturally, the more students you speak to, the more reasons you receive as to why our students have chosen our weekend training, every individual will have their own reasons, but these are just a few to consider when looking at any of our plumbing courses or other training.
