Max has been our tiling instructor for 11 years now and he has been providing students with first class tiling training every single week. Whether it is from short beginners courses or long qualification courses, our students always leave happy with their new skills they have learnt whilst with us.

Many of our students leave Able Skills ready start working as a tiler and some even have jobs lined up ready to go out and start working straight away.
One of our current students already has his new business up and running and already has completed some tiling jobs, one other student may even start working with him as they have built up a friendship during their course. This just shows the confidence Max is giving his students to go out and complete real jobs already.
We run City & Guilds courses and NVQ courses to allow our tiling students to gain the skills and qualifications they need to work in the industry.
We are able to help you through the whole NVQ process from training at our tiling centre in Dartford to on-site assessments that are carried out by our excellent tiling instructor, Max.
Another very popular choice at Able Skills is the short tiling courses that offer a basic knowledge of tiling and gives you skills to complete small jobs. It is a five day course and is very popular amongst people who want some skills to complete some DIY work in their own homes.
Today I caught up with Max and some of his short course students as he gave them a demonstration this morning on how to begin the grouting process after laying the tiles.
