Bricklaying Diplomas available at Able Skills this summer!
If you are looking at starting a career as a Bricklayer then this qualification at level 2 Diploma from City & Guilds could be a great option for you. We also offer level 3 bricklaying diplomas.
This qualification has been put together with a view to getting candidates ready for the industry, not only armed with brick-work skills but with added knowledge of the construction industry to get candidates to be prepared and work ready.
Here is what you will learn:
- Building solid walling, isolated and attached piers
- Interpreting working drawings to set out masonry structures
- Construct cavity walling forming masonry structures
- Health, safety and welfare in construction
- Principles of building construction, information and communication
This is a very in depth course and the knowledge and skills that you will gain from this time at Able Skills will put you in a great position when it comes to sourcing bricklaying work.
