Plumbing is a trade that can be turned into a self-employed venture which makes you the boss of your daily work-life, plumbers are known for enjoying there work and it is reported that 55% of plumbers are 'Very happy with their lives' this is actually the highest out of all trades! Our City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing course is the perfect starting point for aspiring plumbers. If you want to become a qualified Plumber then this industry recognised entry level 2 will be your starting point. You will start with the very basics and progress to a comprehensive understanding of domestic plumbing covering both theory and practical to enable you to work successfully as a Plumber. This is an industry recognised, City & Guilds formal trade qualification and is required in order for candidates to progress further in their plumbing training/career. The course will provide you with a range of plumbing skills covering various topics including Electrical principles and processes, Common plumbing processes, Cold water systems, Domestic hot water systems, Sanitation, Central heating systems and Drainage systems.

Knowing a couple friends working as Gas Engineers and Plumbers he thought that he would join then...After completing our City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing Course! he is now working on-site and is looking to achieve an NVQ within the next 12-months. James, 42 was working for many years in a call centre and thought that there was no hope in terms of a new job. After applying online for similar office-based jobs he found himself thinking about life on a self-employed basis, but how? 2-years ago he came to us in person to ask us what trades are not too complicated and can be lead towards working for yourself. We told him no trade is easy but plumbing is a great opportunity right now as there is a lack of skilled professionals in the industry. He took our Introduction to Plumbing course first then our City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing Course, gained an NVQ and began to work out in Kent...He now plans to come back and learn the trade of Gas with our Qualified Plumber Gas Training Package 2 us later this year! It is never too late in life to switch careers!
