With the current uncertainty, we are proud to present our 'Home-Study' electrician courses! At this moment in time, we are still open for business as usual. We offer plenty of flexibility when it comes to training and achieving qualifications here at Able Skills, one of these flexible options is the ability to take on a Level 2 or Level 3 electrical course on what we call a Home-Study basis. These courses aim to give you the tools and materials to learn the theory side of both respective qualifications in the comfort of your own home, before attending our centre to learn the practical skills and complete assessments. Today here at our facility we have students getting on great with learning their fundamental practical skills, let's take a look at how they are getting on and how to get training yourself!
How does this work?
To start this 'Home-Study' option on either the level 2 or Level 3 we will send you a home study pack which will contain all of the theory knowledge units that you are required to achieve in order to gain this electrical qualification. Also contained within the pack are self-assessment papers allowing you as the candidate to monitor your progress along the way. We recommend that you take at least a couple months, up to 6 to fully comprehend the materials provided to you to ensure that you are confident in this new-found knowledge and that you have retained all of the information. These courses are no different in terms of the level of qualification that you will achieve, neither is it different in terms of the level of understanding that you will have at the end of the process we have taken our time to prepare these materials and everything you need is there, as long as you really put the work in at home studying these materials you'll be ready to attend our centre, successfully learn the practical skills and complete online exams!
Electrician courses are available here at Able Skills and can be a springboard into the industry and becoming a professional.
Once you are confident that you understand the context of the materials that we provide you with you will go on to book 3-weeks or 4-weeks depending on the level of qualification. These weeks will be chosen by you, during which you will attend our training centre, learn the practical side and complete assessments. When you do attend our centre know that everything will be provided for you! No need to worry about going out and buying tools, equipment or anything, simply bring a pair of steel toe capped boots and you're ready to get the fundamental practical skills under your belt! We have some of the best instructors around, with years of experience out in the industry they know how to convey the lessons they learnt out on the tools to our students in a manner that is effective and easy to understand!

Need accommodation? We supply training to students from all over the country and even abroad. So it may be helpful for you to secure accommodation close to our centre for the duration of your course. We have our own accommodation available exclusively to our students for the reasonable price of £20 per night! - If you're interested in booking our accommodation make sure to contact us ahead of your course's starting date as spaces are limited!
