Here at our training centre we educate students on a huge variety of trades. One of our most popular is the skill of plumbing! If you are interested in learning the trade there is no better option than our comprehensive plumbing courses. No matter your skill level our experienced instructors can turn you from novice to professional. If you are considering a career in plumbing but would like a taste of the trade first then our Introduction to Plumbing is the perfect answer and you could start as early as next month! Let's take a look at what you'll learn and what the next step is if you decide you want to peruse a career!

This short intensive course is not just going to provide you with the basics, the course is recognised by City & Guilds as an excellent introduction into the trade an because of that, upon completion you will receive a City and Guilds certificate at the end. Which makes it perfect to gain an insight into plumbing, maybe with a view to progressing further and achieving qualifications, currently the course can be booked as early as the 30th March & 6th April! The course will look at the fundamentals of the trade and cover the following topics:
- Plumbing systems and fittings
- Soldering techniques
- Jointing, bending and pressure testing copper tube
- Dealing with valves, taps, cisterns
- Plumbing pipework

If you would like to further your knowledge after completing the introductory course and make a career out of the trade, then the next step would be our City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing Course - This course will aim to give us a complete understanding of the trade of plumbing and will work through a variety of different subjects both on a practical level and through classroom-based theory teachings to give you the basis of knowledge surrounding all modern domestic plumbing and is therefore an excellent starting point for anyone looking for a career as a Plumber. The course will provide you with a range of plumbing skills covering various topics including Electrical principles and processes, Common plumbing processes, Cold water systems, Domestic hot water systems, Sanitation, Central heating systems and Drainage systems - This course can be booked as early as starting from the 15th June or 10th August! Additionally, this course can also be taken on a 'Part-time' basis meaning that you can complete this City & Guilds qualification over a series of weekends (2-weekends a month). We have spaces on this weekend option starting from the 29th August!
