Well...here at our training centre we have many different routes you can take towards becoming a professional. Our courses are taught by highly knowledgable instructors who have experience in both teachings and working as plumbers themselves for years. We have been teaching trades for a long time and we know how to effectively enhance candidates experience, practice and their theoretical understanding.
Plumbing Courses at Ableskills
Start with the basics:
Being completely new, we recommend that you take one of our introductory plumbing courses so you can learn the absolute basics and to see if you enjoy it and want to commit to a longer course. Our Introduction to Plumbing course is 5-days in length and is ideal for those of you who want some basic introductory plumbing skills with a City and Guilds certificate at the end.
Considering a career in the trade?
City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing Course is the place to start...This is a 6-week comprehensive course designed for those who are looking to gain a qualification that allows them to find work on site. Yes, you do get a certificate for the introduction, but it's not enough to gain a CSCS Card. Leaving with the skills and knowledge to find work, a lot of students are actually able to offer private work when finishing!
Can't commit to a course?
If you are planning a switch of careers but you have an existing job that you can't take time away from or any other prior engagements - we offer weekend courses and home study plumbing courses! Home Study Level 2 Plumbing Course, for example, works the same as the City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing Course but you will learn the theory in your own time and come in to complete assessments - contact us for more information on these two options.
