Do I need Inspection & Testing?

Today we will take a look at Inspection & Testing to determine if you need to pick up this qualification or not. Inspection & Testing or 2391 is exactly what it sounds like the inspection of installations to check for any issues or faults and testing is to check if the installation is in working order and functions as it should.

It is extremely important as Inspection & Testing is an essential skill that any electrician should know, the qualification is simply proof of this ability. The theory learnt whilst completing this award is required to professionally install and carry out initial verification and periodic inspection and testing on electrical installations which is the bread and butter of an electrical installers arsenal. Therefore it is an important qualification to pickup when aiming to become a professional working in the industry! However, if you are planning to work towards becoming a domestic installer you may not have to pick-up the Level 3 Inspection & Testing qualification. You can get by very easily without, but it may be something to pick up later on in your career.
