The JIB Gold Card Status remains one of the most popular electrical courses as such program holds the power to turn students into fully qualified and approved electricians.
Having enrolled on such course, we caught up with Dany Shaw as to why he chose electrics as his career path and what he plans to do after.
What did you do before?
I've worked in many trades before such as carpentry and plumbing but after gaining my first electrical job I knew what I wanted to do with my career. I really enjoyed working with electrics and decided I wanted to become fully qualified.
What do you enjoy most about the course?
The actual learning is definitely up there. A lot of the time, courses I've been on before haven't always been as engaging like the electrical courses here.
The teachers are always willing to help which is nice as knowing extra help is there is always good.
Dany went on to explain how his tutor went over things in preparation for his exams to make him even more confident.
What do you hope to achieve?
Well I would love to make a very successful living from doing what I love. Knowing I like working with electrics is good knowing that the industry pays very well.
Immediately after I have completed all the electrical courses that make up the JIB Gold Card, I want to gain more experience on site before eventually starting up my own business. That would be further down the line of course.
What can you say about the facilities?
Very good. We had our own bays to carry out the practical tasks with all necessary tools provided too.
How did you hear about us?
Online. I read the reviews and turned up on the weekend where I was shown around the centre. I liked what I saw and decided to go with Able Skills.
There is a huge amount of knowledge and experience offered on the JIB Gold Card package. If you would like more information on such course, then please click here.
