Now is the time for people involved in the construction industry - such as electrical training apprentices - to take advantage of new business opportunities, one expert has suggested.
Ilse van den Meijdenberg is the event organiser and founder of the UK meets NL network, which was formed by English Services in a bid to promote trade links between the UK and the Netherlands.
He said that employment abounds in the sector in both countries, despite the current financial crisis.
His comments follow the release of tickets for the event, which will focus on jobs in the UK's construction and engineering industries and business development strategies and essentials such as IT and networking tips.
"We have set up this network to provide (potential) Anglo-Dutch businesses with a platform for forging new relationships with their international counterparts," stated Mr van den Meijdenberg.
He added that those working in the sector need to make ensure they make the most of new ideas.
