One construction expert has spoken about his admiration for Windowmaster, Europe's largest provider of natural and smoke ventilation solutions.
Tony Sadler, architect with the North Tyneside Construction Group, said that his company first became interested in the firm when investigating the price of louvre systems and air catchers, which are required to make fresh air systems function.
His comments follow Windowmaster's completion of a ventilation and window control system for a new £15 million primary learning campus in Longbenton, Tyneside.
"The elimination of louvres reduces maintenance and helps to maintain air tightness which has become a significant aspect of building design and performance in the quest for lower carbon usage," stated Mr Sadler, whose company is developing the scheme.
Involving the integration of Goathland Primary School and Glebe Special School in one central location, the development forms part of North Tyneside Council's investment in education across the borough.
This news comes after Windowmaster's recent launch of its new NV Comfort product for small and medium-sized buildings.
