At Able Skills we offer a whole range of Electrician courses from introduction options to industry recognised, City & Guilds qualifications to courses that will deem you full qualified as an electrician. We take pride in the training options that we offer and know that once you leave our centre you will be ready to take on electrical tasks at a good standard, safely and with the knowledge behind you to know exactly what you are doing and why you are doing it. You will find it hard to find a centre as comprehensive as ours, with instructors who are experts in the trade training here, giving students their insights into the industry and conveying the lessons they learnt themselves whilst starting out and what they've learnt during their many years out in the industry. "I took the City & Guilds level 2 course here before covid and returned to take on my level 3. The centre is great, all the instructors that I have been taught from have been really knowledgeable, helpful and willing to explain sections to people if they need assistance. Social Distancing?
Yes, of course we are still doing our part to ensure that we are providing a space that is safe and reliable for both our students and staff and that minimises the likelihood of spread. We are doing this and have been doing this through having reduced class sizes, PPE in use throughout the centre, our work bays are now for individuals instead of two students, we are also cleaning the entire centre on a regular basis as well as disinfecting used equipment and rooms with our fogging machines. We will continue to abide by the government's advice and hope to present a learning environment that is safe and that students can feel comfortable and confident within. We do ask that anyone visiting the centre is cautious and wears a mask when speaking to staff.

You should know that we encourage people thinking about training with us to come and visit us in person, in person we can discuss the training option available and even show you around the centre so that you can see for yourself the great work that we do here and what to expect from us.
If you live outside of the local area you may have thought about securing accommodation in the local area like a hotel. We have our own accommodation available exclusively to our student. All three properties are located just a short walking distance from our centre. The properties will provide you with your own fully furnished room with washing facilities and TV. There are several bathrooms/WCs as well as fully fitted kitchens and a dining areas to eat and/or meet your fellow students. Accommodation can be booked for the reasonable price of just £20 per night! - If you are interested make sure to contact us as early as possible as spaces are limited!
