Britons considering a change of career might find that taking a plumbing training course is extremely beneficial after an ex-soldier won an award following re-training.
According to HeatingandVentilating.net, Paul Bennett received a Best training award after starting his own plumbing business despite becoming injured during conflict in Iraq.
He had to be medically discharged from the army and decided to boost his skills in areas such as the BPEC Water Regulations, BPEC Unvented Hot Water and Electrical Part P by taking numerous courses.
Mr Bennett was nominated for the accolade by Walsall Training centre, whose training manager Steve Edis commented: "Paul should not only be applauded for his previous career in the army, but also recognition should be given to the fact that he has had to endure a major career change, plus coping with his injury."
HeatingandVentilating.net offers web users the chance to see an online job centre, read blogs and take advantage of a virtual marketplace.
