Here at Able Skills, we like to be as flexible as possible so that we can help anybody seeking to better themselves through gaining trade skills. Electrician courses are some of our most popular options for training. Unfortunately, we are now fully booked until January next year, however, you can always get started with our Home-Study options, this alternative training method allows you to get started learning the theory side of the trade at home, before attending our centre to learn the practical side, gain some experience and complete assessments. How does Home-Study work?
The course will start in your own space. You will effectively replace the instructor with our 'Home-Study Pack' for the theory side of the qualification. The pack will be sent directly to your home and includes all of the theory information you could possibly need for the qualification, there will also be practice questions included so that you can test yourself along the way. You will also have access to the online learning platform 'Smartscreen' as another tool to refer to as you learn at your own pace.

Once you are confident that you understand the information you have been provided with then it will be time to contact us to book 3-weeks for the Level 3 or 4-weeks for the Level 2 during which you'll get stuck in with the practical side of the trade, gaining valuable experience and completing the relevant assessments. We also offer a combined Home Study Electrics Level 2 and Level 3 that will start with level 2 work thought both theory and practical then move to level 3 for the same, the combined course comes with the added bonus of a reduced price.

If you live a considerable distance from our location here in Dartford, Kent just outside of London then you may be thinking about accommodation for the duration of your Electrician courses. Well, we have our own accommodation available, located just a short walking distance from our centre - Accommodation can be booked for the reasonable price of £20 per night! However, make sure to contact us well ahead of your courses start date as spaces are limited!
