These two Gas students have gone from plumbing to gas.
When training to become a Plumber a lot of people will look to further their training and increase their skills. This is exactly the case for plumbing students here at Able Skills. Many of our students will make the transisition from plumbing to gas as they train towards a new career.
Many of our students who have taken the City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing Course with us have gone on to complete their gas training with us as well. After six weeks of plumbing training with us some decide to go out and begin working and get some experience and some decide to go straight into their gas training.
Our current group of City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing students are finishing their course this week. Several them are going straight onto their gas training as they look to get their new career off to the best possible start.
We believe in training the proper way and especially with our gas courses. Gas Safety is huge and more people are being arrested and charged with completing unsafe and illegal gas work. This is due to them being poorly trained or not trained at all. We make sure all our students get the best possible training here at Able Skills and we make sure they leave our centre knowing they can safely and correctly carry out gas work.
Gas Safety is extremely important because unsafe gas work in people’s homes can potentially be deadly. Unsafe gas work carried out by someone who isn’t Gas Safe registered is illegal. Also, unsafe work can cause, fires, carbon monoxide poisoning, explosions, and gas leaks.
We offer various packages for our gas courses here at Able Skills to allow our students to take different routes into their new careers. We have packages for students that are already qualified Plumbers and packages for people who are complete new entrants into the industry. These packages have recently been revamped to give our students the best possible training.
