There may be a surge in demand for carpentry courses if people take on some garden improvement tips from one source.
A spokesperson from Ronseal suggested people can freshen up their back yard by building a shed to de-clutter the space and lay out some decking to create an area for entertaining guests.
People planning on embarking on such projects may decide to look into taking carpentry courses in order to have a deeper knowledge of these forms of construction.
The Ronseal representative advised people that natural-coloured sheds are the best options, while she highlighted the "polished contemporary look" that decking adds to a garden.
She added: "Just make sure you build the deck wide enough to fit garden furniture and leave enough space for you and your guests to manoeuvre around."
According to a recent press release by the Royal Horticultural Society, there is unprecedented interest from sponsors hoping to partner the 2011 Chelsea Flower Show, with this year's event selling out of tickets by May 14th.
