Pictured above we have Gary Loughnane who decided it was time to receive his Plumbing Training and switch over into the Industry just last year. If we told you about his success thus far you probably wouldnt believe it!
In a short period of time, Gary has gone from achieving his City & Guilds qualification to launching his own Plumbing business with ambitions to expand further. When speaking to Gary you really sense the positivity in his approach and its very motivating to see someone reaching their goals after initially setting them. So here it is... Read on to find out the success behind our student story today!
Gary received his initial Plumbing training here at Able Skills back in February on our City & Guilds accredited Level 2 Plumbing Course. Teaching him everything he needs to kick start his new career, the Plumbing Training allowed him take a step closer to being his own boss.

''My friends had recently become qualified Plumbers and I saw first hand at how well they were doing. I was stuck in my current job with nowhere to go so I thought I would look at going into the trade myself''

As you can imagine, going live with your own business attracts all types of customer requests and Gary knew the course would be a great starting point to give him his competitive edge.
Anchora Plumbing - Gary's own Plumbing Company has officially launched and was created after deciding the printing industry wasn't for him. That's right, having worked in printing, Gary couldn't see a prosperous future and therefore turned to the ever booming industry of Plumbing where work remains in abundance.
Gary's toughest challenge now is making sure he keeps up with his ever growing client base! Proving a popular and reliable tradesmen in South Essex and surrounding areas, it's no suprise Anchora Plumbing is receiving calls from all over the country!!
What's next?
Gary told us ''I really want to become a Gas Safe Engineer so I can add to the services I currently offer. There is alot of demand for gas related jobs and I'd be foolish to not give the customers what they want''
