Here at Able Skills we know that not everybody that is interested in our Gas courses have the time to be here at our facility for weeks on end. So we provide the option for weekend training! That's right! We allow students to complete our gas training entirely over a series of weekends! Traditionally our Gas courses are Monday - Friday, however the option to train on a 2-weekends a month basis is extremely useful for busy people with limited time...

 

 

For example, our most popular course packages the New Entrant Gas Training Package 2 can be taken over a series of weekends on a 2 weekends on, 2 weekends off basis. You will achieve the same level of qualification as students on the full-time option, the only difference is the length of time it will take you to complete the course in its entirety. If you are looking to become a professional Gas Engineer then this is the package for you - This package of gas training, portfolio placement and ACS assessment is for New Entrants looking to access the gas industry and is aimed particularly at those who do not have a comprehensive background with regards to pipe-work.

There is a real shortage of skilled workers in this trade, which is beneficial for you - it means that there are more opportunities in terms of the amount of work that is out there for you to take. Plus the industry is always busy which means that those skilled workers are seeing a huge increase in their pay!  talented and successful gas engineers can earn up to £50,000 a year and beyond! Of course, if you run your own business – a serious and very real option for many in the gas trade – your pay could significantly increase.

If you live a fair distance from our facility and the commute is halting you enrollment, then please be aware that we have accommodation available exclusively for our students just a short walk from our facility for the reasonable price of £20 per night!
