There are various reasons that people decide to get into the Gas Industry, no matter what your motivations are Able Skills will be able to provide you with the Gas Courses that you need no matter what stage you are at on your journey through the industry. A lot of students that attend Gas Courses with us at Able Skill often tend to go on to complete a Plumbing Course with us as well or vice versa! Some of our students do this because it opens more doors for them as they head out into their respective industries and others do it because they would just like that extra feather in their cap! Having a well-rounded knowledge of the Gas and Plumbing Industry will make you a very valuable asset to any future employer. However, we do also have a huge percentage of students who are completing our courses with an aim to becoming self-employed, this is a motivating factor to a lot of students when it comes to getting their qualifications. What could be better than having your own van, sign written and displaying your own company logo – it looks great and also works well as an advertising tool.

If you are one of those people who is interested in a career within the gas industry then you should consider our New Entrant to Gas Training Package, this course is taught over seven weeks in our state of the art Gas Training Centre where you will learn how to work safely across a range of gas appliances. Once the training is complete, you will need to work alongside a Gas Safe registered Engineer to build a portfolio of competence before coming back to sit your gas exams. From this point onwards, you will be eligible to register with Gas Safe.
