We host a whole range of Electrician courses here at our centre, providing training for all skill levels from absolute beginner to a professional level. So, in case you're looking to kick-start a new career or you're a working electrician interested in learning more advanced skills, we have got you covered. In the case of a complete beginner looking to gain all the training they need to begin working there is no better or more complete package of training than our Gold Card Approved Electrician Package - This course includes all of the stages of training you will need in preparation for a JIB ECS Gold Card, the card certifies that the holder can work unsupervised on the installation, commissioning and maintenance of electronic appliances and is effectively an 'approved electrician'.

What's included?
This package of electrical training includes; 7-weeks of training on our City & Guilds Level 2, another 7-weeks on our City & Guilds Level 3, our 3-day 18th Edition Course, 2-days covering our PAT Testing Course from there it will be 6-days on our combined Level 3 Award in Inspection and Testing. - The NVQ and AM2 will follow on from here but the dates for assessment are more likely to be determined by you. This collection of training courses will ultimately teach you to become an electrician from scratch, starting with the fundamentals and working towards more advanced theory and practical tasks.
What's the purpose of the card?
ECS or the Electrotechnical Certification Scheme accredits the qualifications and experience of workers in the electrical industry. They have a range of cards available depending on the qualifications you have obtained. Obtaining this 'Gold Card' means that you are seen in the industry as competent electricians who would be welcome to work unsupervised on most construction sites. It almost acts as an ID card for the profession and will give you a sense of security in terms of cementing that you have the knowledge and skills to carry out work at a professional level.

We have spaces available on this Gold Card Approved Electrician Package starting from Monday the 1st of March! We also have part-time spaces available (Weekend training) starting from Saturday the 3rd of April!
