Home-Study Electrician courses this week as students get hands-on!
Here at Able Skills it is business and usual for us! Our Electrician courses are going ahead as our students on the Home-Study option look to gain some extra practical experience and they prepare themselves for their final assessments. We like to be flexible when it comes to how and when students train with us, our Home-Study training option are unique to our centre and are a great way to learn at your own pace and train around an existing job, kids and or a busy lifestyle. As you can see in the video below our students are maintaining a social distance whilst getting stuck in to some practical tasks. We are taking this pandemic very seriously and doing our best to maintain a space that is safe and reliable for our students to learn and develop within. Interested in our Home-Study options for electrical qualifications? Let's take a look at how they work...
Home-Study Training?
We offer two Home-Study options for electrical courses, these include both our City & Guilds Level 2 course and our City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical course. Our Home-Study options are simple to understand, instead of learning the theory side of the trade from one of our instructors you will learn from our Home-Study pack at home and at your own pace. Each pack will contain everything you need to know about the relevant qualification, they will include things like the formulas, definitions, diagrams and much more. They will also include test questions so that you can challenge yourself as you study. We give you as much time as you need with the pack. Once you feel confident that you have understood everything provided it will be time to contact us to book in your practical training and time to complete assessments. You'll book 20-days for the Level 2 course and 15-days if you are taking on the Level 3 course.
During these alternative options you will be taught the practical side by the exact same instructors as the traditional course and will earn yourself the exact same level of qualification. The only real difference is that it will take a longer time to complete when compared to our traditional 7-week full-time options. This is a great alternative way to take on these electrical courses and can be very useful to those with a busy schedule. If you are interested you can get started straight away, either give us a call on 01322 280 202 or come and visit our centre in person, once you've secured your place on the course we will send you your 'Home-Study Pack' right to your front door!
