Green energy courses could see a surge of interest soon, as one of the officials behind a new solar panel project has lauded the impact the initiative could have.
HomeSun chief executive officer Daniel Green claimed the scheme is a "rare moment" where a green technology idea has been included in a political manifesto and everyone has supported the concept.
The programme is part of the government's efforts to reduce carbon emissions and workers will no doubt benefit from green energy courses if they are hired to install one of the new solar panels.
"I think it is a brilliant way to get us to grid parity where there is no contribution needed by utilities or government and we are all benefiting from solar power," he remarked.
The HomeSun representative went on to stress that anyone signing up for the scheme will receive plenty of support.
