The UK’s heating industry is globally respected, but with a lack of talented traders our workforce is shrinking. The industry needs you to fill the many positions that are vacant. Of course your initial salary will depend on your experience level. How do I become a Gas Engineer?
As a new entrant our New Entrant Gas Training Package 2 is the perfect starting point. This course involves 7-weeks of hands-on practical training, portfolio completion and an ACS assessment, all of which are needed in order to apply with the Gas Safe Register.
Our courses have developed over the last 20-years that we have been in business. Our Gas Engineer courses include everything you need to enter the industry. During the course you will learn both the theory behind the trade and the hands-on physical skills within our workshops. Our instructors will be on hand to help during the whole process.
Practical sessions are undertaken in any one of our 3 comprehensively equipped workshops. The initial 7-weeks will be very intensive, however, our instructors will always take the time to help anybody who is unsure of a particular task or piece of knowledge.
All gas instructors employed by Able Skills are industry served Gas Engineers – they have a combined wealth of industry knowledge as well as years of experience teaching gas and related subjects.
