What skills does the course cover?

Over a total duration of six weeks, you can choose any three trade specialisms from tiling, plumbing, plastering, carpentry and bricklaying.

Once you have chosen the areas you’d like to focus on, you will spend two weeks honing your skills in each. While the course is primarily hands-on, teaching you more than just basic practical skills, each two-week segment will also cover theory aspects, equipping you with a well-rounded knowledge that meets Level 3 requirements. 

Regular practical and theoretical assessments are also in place to consistently validate your learning as you progress through the course. 

From covering how to solder and repair leaky pipes, knowing how to properly skim walls, understanding how to cut and fit doors or being able to construct a cavity wall, the course is both incredibly varied and in-depth.

Using ELCAS funding for the Level 3 Property Maintenance Course
