Looking to train, gain a plumbing qualification and switch careers but don't have time? Well, we want to make you aware of one of our alternative training methods that can hopefully be of use to some of you aspiring plumbers with limited time on your hands! Our Home Study Level 2 Plumbing Course is an option that will reduce the amount of time you need to attend our centre by giving you the tools to learn the theory side of the qualification in you own time! You will gain the exact same City & Guilds qualification, the only difference to traditional plumbing courses is that you will learn the theoretical side of the trade away from our facility and then attend to learn the practical skill itself and complete exams.

How does it work?
You will be provided with a plumbing courses 'home-study pack' which will provide you with all of the theory needed for this level 2 qualification. You can study this at your own pace, we recommend that you study the materials that we provide for at least 6-weeks or until you feel confident in your new-found knowledge...When you are ready you can then attend Able Skills for 4-weeks (The weeks you attend our centre are chosen by you and should be broken up.) to undertake practical training and assessment on the plumbing tasks that you have learnt the theory around; you will also undertake online multiple choice exams in our dedicated exam room to test all of the theory that you have learnt at home.
What will we cover?
The course will teach you to become a professional plumber from scratch, so you can expect to cover a huge range of topics both at home studying the theory but also in our workshops whilst learning the practical side. Our expert instructors will guide you the entire way, whilst attending our centre do not be afraid to ask questions and seek guidance, our instructors have come across every situation imaginable for a plumber and have overcome them. You are here to learn, so make sure to make the most of the experience and engage with the training, we set-up our students to go on and build long, successful careers after completing our plumbing courses. We have 3-locations available all within walking distance of our training centre here in Dartford, Kent for the reasonable price of £20 per night - Make sure to give us a call ahead of when your course is due to start as spaces are limited!
