Looking to get into the trade of plumbing? Well...The perfect starting place would be our Introduction to Plumbing courses if you have no experience, however if you are serious about becoming a professional in the trade then we assume you have some knowledge from attempting plumbing work at home and so on, in which case you should be looking at our City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing Course! 

This short intensive course is ideal for those of you who want some basic introductory plumbing skills with a City and Guilds certificate at the end. It is ideal for individuals who want to gain an insight into plumbing, maybe with a view to progressing further and achieving qualifications. Making it the perfect starting point on the path towards becoming a professional plumber working out in the industry self-employed or otherwise.

How will I learn?

Our instructors are experts in the trade and will guide you the entire way whether that be through class-room based talks, practical demonstrations, one-on-one communication, through textbooks an so much more! They know the trade inside out and have come across every situation that you could possibly imagine working as a plumber on a daily basis...So, ask questions, seek advice and take advantage of the opportunity of learning from somebody who has been where you are aspiring to be.

This course is a real mixture of practical and theory training and you are assessed for the qualification by undertaking both practical assignments and on-line exams here at Able Skills. We will provide you with everything you need to achieve this qualification including a level 2 Plumbing reference book...

After completing this course you will most likely want to be looking towards achieving an NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) , however, this cannot be completed without finding work, as you must be on-site to be judged for your NVQ in the mean time we offer a range of courses that are highly beneficial to pick-up as a trainee plumber including;  Water Regulations, Energy Efficiency or Unvented Hot Water Systems and maybe progress to C&G 6035 level 3 which includes lots of beneficial additional training and qualifications.
