The above video was taken live today from one of our Plumbing Centres as our Level 2 students continue to work towards their diploma. The majority of these students you see here are completely new to the trade with some students perhaps holding little experience in the field with no real qualifications.
Naturally, the more experience you hold, even more Plumbing opportunities become available. One example includes working on both domestic and commercial properties. Now, the more specialist skills you hold positively correlates to even more job variety. In today's day and age, people want more specialist work rather than the simple work that's been done over and over.
One particular move that's popular for Plumbers is a switch over to the world of Gas. Many practicing Plumbers will re-invest in themselves again by undergoing various Gas Courses to broaden their skill set, much like Tyrone Tash (yesterday's students story).
It's worth mentioning that if you do want to come back to train as Plumbing and Heating Engineer, then you may want to consider the Qualified Plumber Gas Training Course. Reason being... you immediately become eligible for the 5 week course rather than the 7 week course. Why? Because you will already have the required Plumbing Skills needed to become a successful Gas Engineer.
Gas Courses like these are most certainly Bpec Approved and can take anyone with a minimal skill set and turn them into confident working professionals who cannot only begin working on site, but they can also work for themselves as soon as they pass their ACS Exams and register with Gas Safe.
