Where do I start?
When it comes to starting out in the trade of plumbing, you will find it very hard to beat our City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing course - This 6-week course is designed to be the perfect starting point for anybody with little or no experience in the trade looking at learning and eventually starting a career. On this course you will learn the daily task of a plumber, the theory behind those tasks, you'll gain real hands-on experience and be taught by an instructor who is an expert in the trade. All of our plumbing instructors are passionate about the trade and have years of experience both teaching and working on on the tools. They know how to convey the lessons they learnt themselves whilst starting out to our students, giving you the best possible starting point!
Can I learn the basics?
If you have some understanding of plumbing and want to train towards working out in the industry you should jump straight into our Level 2 Plumbing course but if you have no experience or insight whatsoever then you can always take on our 5-day Introduction to Plumbing course - This short intensive course is ideal for gaining the absolute basics and gives you an opportunity to know whether or not the trade is for you and something you could see yourself doing professionally before progressing further and achieving qualifications. In fact, as we are recognised by City & Guilds, at the end of this course you will receive a City & Guilds certificate to confirm the skills that you will have learned.
When can I start?
Unfortunately, we are now fully booked until the new year but why not put this year behind you and start fresh in 2o21? As for the City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing course we have spaces available starting from the 22nd of February - To secure you place on this course give us a call on 01322 280 202 or you can visit us in person to ask questions, take a look around and book courses. If you live a considerable distance from our training centre here in Dartford, Kent then you may be considering securing accommodation in the local area for the duration of your plumbing courses or other training. You should know that we actually have our own accommodation available exclusively for our students located just a short walking distance from our facility. Our accommodation is available to all students no matter the length of your course for the reasonable price of just £20 per night!
