Ensuring one is up date with the latest industry regulations for their trade is of upmost importance when working with the public. Able Skills have always taken this into consideration and we now proud to announce The New 18th Edition Update Course!
This course is designed to update those who have passed their 17th edition (C&G 2382-15) since the last amendment was published and will cover the changes introduced by the 18th Edition. Students can expect practice questions and be better prepared for their full 60-question 2382-18 on-line exam.
Changes for 18th Edition are suggested to be as follows:
- Protection against overvoltages - Clause 443 is likely to be overhauled.
- Protection against fire - Chapter 42 will be updated with extra information on arc fault detection
- Electrical Embedded heating - Section 753 will be extended to include embedded electrical heating systems for surface heating, and will include de-icing and frost prevention systems.
Please note, there will be also be a brand new section covering energy efficiency.
What else can I expect?
Students can expect to be at ease when it comes to sitting their City & Guilds 18th Edition Exam. Such 1 day update course will be taught at our training centre based in Dartford and will be classroom based.
Students are reminded that the 18th edition qualification will become essential to anyone looking to join a Government Approved Part P Scheme Provider and every installation from January 2019 onwards will need to be designed with such regulations in mind.
