With the centre due to be open at the end of April, the construction is coming along very nicely and it is starting to really take the shape of a first class training facility for Able Skills to run more fantastic training courses.
The popularity for plumbing and electrical training is higher than ever before, so the new centre will allow us to offer more and more training to our students.
The two industries are in high demand for workers all over the UK, so the demand for training courses is much higher than ever. With the shortage within the whole of the construction industry being a huge problem, it is showing a great opportunity for all people that are looking for a career change as the chance is there to start fresh as a Plumber or Electrician.

Our open plan electrical centre will enable us to offer more training and better facilities for our students training to become Electricians. Our fresh plumbing centre will allow our students to use first class training bays to enhance their plumbing skills and gain their qualifications.
The construction of our new centre has given our carpentry NVQ students a fantastic opportunity to gain some valuable work experience on a real site environment and put the work towards their NVQ portfolio. Dick has been working extremely well and has made a huge contribution to the new centre with his new carpentry skills.
He has worked extremely hard with the rest of the team to complete the structure of the centre. It is now well on the way to be completed by the end of April and Dick has been very happy that he was given this opportunity to work towards his NVQ at Able Skills by working on our new centre.
