Happy New Year to everyone training at Able Skills! We had a terrific 2018 and wish everyone the best of luck in achieving their goals over the next 12 months. However you plan on investing in yourselves this year, just know that Able Skills have you covered! From new Electrical Courses, to new courses across all trades, we'll be more than happy to help you find the suitable qualifications for your desired careers!
As the centre is back up and running, find out which Electrical Courses are in action this week!
The Level 2 Electrical Course
The Level 2 Electrical Course welcomes yet another bright group of students as they kick start their new year seeking to learn a whole new set of skills. Being the perfect start for students who are new to the trade, the Level 2 allows students to gain a City & Guilds certificate as well as hands on experience. As they begin this week, students can expect to gain such certificate by as soon as the end of February!
Part P Courses
The start of more Part P Courses! Today we saw Clive take on another set of students looking to develop their domestic installer skills. Whether it be for work, or out of their own interest, Clive enjoys teaching students everything they need to know to work on their house, or even open doors to earn more money! Check out the different Part P Packages we offer here.
The Level 3 Electrical Course
The Level 3 Electrical Course is naturally the next step for anyone who has previously completed their Level 2. Being a more comprehensive course than the 2, students are taken to the next level with as they're assessed on the following units:
- Understanding the fundamental principles and requirements of environmental technology systems.
- Principles of Electrical Science
- Electrical Installations: Fault Diagnosis and Rectification
- Electrical Installations: Inspection, Testing and Commissioning
- Electrical Systems Design
- Career awareness in building services engineering
18th Edition
With the 18th Edition now in full effect, it's no wonder why we're holding 2 groups this week to help students get theirs done and dusted. As you all know, without the 18th Edition, you are not legally able to work on Electrical Installations. This means one thing - less money for you! If you're not legally able to carry out work, then it's no surprise you'll find it hard to gain work!
Make sure this is the year of big changes! Take that step forward and make sure you get in touch to find out more. Even if you wish to speak to someone in person and have a look around our centres - that's no problem! Click here for all Electrical Courses or call us on 01322 280 202 and we'll be happy to answer any questions you have!
