Make sure your Boiler is being serviced by a Gas Safe Registered Engineer!

This latest report of illegal gas work comes from Mansfield, where a man failed to renew his Gas Safe registration after it expired and carried on doing gas work as normal, knowing full well that his registration was out of date. The particular incidents he was eventually caught for where when he replaced a boiler and radiators at an address on Shakespeare Avenue, Mansfield, on September 7 and 9, and replaced a boiler at an address on The Baulk, Worksop, on October 6. It wanst just that this man in question was not currently registered these two jobs were actually faulty - problems arose with both installations, and engineers had to repair defects on one boiler, while the other was described as "immediately dangerous."
