People hoping to retain as a plumber and gain their approved plumbing qualifications could take inspiration from Hannah Lewis.

According to reports in the Hampshire Chronicle, Ms Lewis decided to change profession after 15 years as a veterinary nurse when boredom began to set in.

She told the publication that she took a plumber training course after the career was suggested by her partner.

After gaining her qualifications, she has found that she loves her new work.

"It's given me a lot of job satisfaction and I'm glad I made the move," she said.

She is now believed to be the only female plumber in Winchester.

Women thinking abut retraining as a plumber could take inspiration from Ms Lewis's story and find themselves enjoying the prospects offered as a result of a course such as this.

They might also want to consider an apprenticeship scheme, which notgoingtouni.co.uk recently described as being "terrific".
