According to the firm, homeowners who are interested in taking advantage of the boiler scrappage scheme should swap their old appliance with a heat pump, which could offer more energy efficiency and reduce energy bills further.
"The choice in the market for heating system is now wider than ever and householders should also look beyond boilers for highly-efficient and now even more affordable solutions to heat our homes," it explained.
In addition, the company stated that people might even be eligible for a grant of up to £900 as part of the state's Low Carbon Buildings Programme, as well as the money offered by the scrappage scheme.
The boiler scrappage scheme offers grants of up to £400 for homeowners with G-rated, energy inefficient boilers to put towards a new eco-friendly appliance.
