How would I get started?
If you are looking to learn the trade of plumbing, we offer a complete range of courses. We offer options for those looking to learn the basics and for those serious about starting a new career. Our City & Guilds Level 2 plumbing course. is 6-weeks in total and covers a a huge amount of theory knowledge and practical skills.
We are the perfect training centre to help you go from a limited amount of knowledge to being ready to kick-start a career. We have been teaching the trade for 20-years and have fantastic facilities available to our students.
The City & Guilds Level 2 plumbing course will provide you with a range of plumbing skills covering various topics including Electrical principles and processes, Common plumbing processes, Cold water systems, Domestic hot water systems, Sanitation, Central heating systems and Drainage systems.
After this course you will be ready to work within the industry. You may want to consider a few courses like Water Regulations, Energy Efficiency or Unvented Hot Water Systems. These courses will give you more insight on specific topics. However, you will mostly want to go out and get as much experience on the job as possible.
Once you have gained some good experience working out on the tools. Your next goal will be achieving a Level 2 NVQ or National Vocational Qualification. This isn’t a training course; it is an assessment process which takes place wherever you are undertaking plumbing work...
