Plumbers gained 3.6% rise in earnings!
We talked about the increased earnings of electricians but plumbers followed closely second in this latest report, with an overall 3.6% increase! This statistic is based on the earnings of self-employed plumbers, from around 2,200 separate earning reports. If you are planning on taking up a career in this trade then maybe now is the time. If this increase in earnings won't motivate you to get some training - nothing will!
England and Wales reveal a weekly average of £1,119 for plumbing contractors. Plumbers in Yorkshire and the Humber saw the strongest growth in weekly earnings in October, rising 24.2% to £802. They were followed by the West Midlands, up 12.4% to £1,110, and London, up 11% to £1,099. - HVP
