There may soon be greater demand for plumbing courses in Edinburgh, after it was announced that one library in the city will require this sort of expertise.
Morningside Library, which can be found on Morningside Road, is set to undergo a major refurbishment and, as well as electrical and decorative work, there will also be some plumbing needing to be done, according to the Scotsman.
This will mean that the services of workers who have completed plumbing courses will be required, with a new disabled toilet and staff facilities among the projects that need to be carried out.
"Plans have been lodged for an extensive overhaul of the fabric of the building, including new plumbing, repainting and rewiring," explained the publication.
Anyone wishing to head down to the site can take one of several Lothian buses, including numbers 5, 11, 15, 16 and 17.
The library currently has no public toilet facilities, which may be the reason why this new initiative is being carried out.
