The popularity of plumbing courses has been given a lift following the publication of a study by unbiased.co.uk showing that many people will turn to an expert to remedy issues in this area.
Research by the firm revealed 45 per cent of people would seek out the opinion of someone with professional expertise to deal with plumbing issues such as blockages.
This will come as positive news for workers who have completed plumbing courses, since they can feel confident that their knowledge will be called upon by almost half of the population, according to this study.
"It seems as a nation we are more than happy to ask for expert help when it comes to our home," explained unbiased.co.uk chief executive Karen Barrett.
