Here at Able Skills, we are continuing to provide a space for aspiring traders to learn and develop safely during this pandemic. This week is no different as we host a range of Plumbing courses. Feedback is a great tool for us as a training centre as it helps us to understand what we are doing well and what needs attention and needs to be improved. We are proud of the training courses that we provide which is why it is important that we gain constructive reviews. How can I get started?
If you are interested in learning the trade of Plumbing and kick-starting a career in the trade then there is no better starting point than our City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing course. Unfortunately, this course is very popular and is now fully booked until the 22nd of February 2021! However, if you are looking to get started before the new year you can always take on our Home-Study option. Our Home Study Electrics Level 2 is the exact same course content and qualification as the traditional course - The only difference is that you will learn the theory side of the course in your own time.
To do this, we will send you a 'Home-Study pack' which will include all of the theory behind plumbing for this specific qualification. Take your time to work through what's been provided and even check yourself with the test questions provided. You should take at least 6-weeks to ensure that you have understood the information provided and can that you can recite it. Once you are comfortable with this new-found knowledge you can contact us and we will find the next available dates for you to take on your 4-weeks of practical learning, gaining the hands-on plumbing skills and to complete the relevant assessments.

If you live a considerable distance from our training centre here in Dartford, Kent then you may be considering securing accommodation in the local area for the duration of your plumbing courses or other training. You should know that we actually have our own accommodation available exclusively for our students located just a short walking distance from our facility. Our accommodation is available to all students no matter the length of your course for the reasonable price of just £20 per night!
