Able Skills is the proud host to both the City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing and the Introduction to Plumbing Courses. What's the difference? Well in a nutshell the Introduction to Plumbing Course does exactly what it says on the tin as it provides students with the ideal start giving them an insight into what the world of Plumbing is really like.
Ran over a 5 day period, here's what the Course looks like:
- Plumbing systems and fittings
- Soldering techniques
- Jointing, bending and pressure testing copper tube
- Dealing with valves, taps, cisterns
- Plumbing pipework
The Level 2 however, goes a lot more in depth as such course is designed to get you guys working on site immediately. This 6 weeker teaches you all necessary skills as you work towards your City & Guilds Qualification. The Level 2 Plumbing Course covers the following topics:
- Electrical principles and processes
- Common plumbing processes
- Cold water systems
- Domestic hot water systems
- Sanitation
- Central heating systems and Drainage systems
