Earning approved plumbing qualifications is extremely enjoyable and worthwhile, two students have revealed.
The women - Rachel Toor, 18 and Karina Patel, 19 - are taking plumber training courses at the Walsall Housing Group's Skills Centre and are both studying an NVQ level 3 in the practice.
Commenting on the beneficial aspects of the course, Ms Toor said that it gives her the chance to meet lost of different people and gives her a sense of satisfaction when she has carried out a job for somebody.
"I chose plumbing as I wanted a practical job, working with my hands and saw plumbing as a great skill to learn," she added.
Ms Patel added that she enjoys the practical side of the role too.
"Its more suited to me than sitting in an office," she explained.
