Electrical courses could become increasingly popular among Brits after an expert suggested that there are plenty of benefits to extra training and education in the workplace.
The government announced yesterday (April 6th) that all employees who belong to a firm with 250 or more workers now have the legal right to request time off for study or training.
From April 2011 onwards, companies with a smaller workforce will be able to take up the new regulation.
And the new measure could benefit already-qualified electricians who want to add to their skills and experience by taking a further electrical course.
Commenting on the news, spokeswoman for Hirescores.com Lisette Howlett said: "I think training and education, almost regardless of the subject matter, is a good thing."
She added that it also provides employees with the personal responsibility of arranging their training opportunities, which again is a positive move.
